“The quicker this is done, the quicker we get out of here.” he murmured, and lifted him up again, with ease. Then he kicked and moved, dashing through the trees like a blur until they came out into an open, empty space; apparently once there’d been a big tree here, but had fallen. He put her down again and leant against a tree to catch his breath.

Immediately as he put her down, she walked to the center of the field and started typing frantically on her communicator. She fiddled around with it for a few seconds, before it started emitting faint sizzles. In no time, she managed to contact the HQ and deliver their current location.

She sighed deeply as the call ended, and went back towards the trees, letting herself drop next to Pietro. ❝ We are saved. They will be here in less than an hour. ❞ She breathed, relief floating in her eyes. ❝ You were great, Pietro. I… couldn’t have escaped without you. ❞
